Mark you calendar as we have the date for our registration/information evening. Fall Registration for Ukrainian Dance Classes is on September 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Ukrainian National Home at 1133 Stickney Street. Email us at [email protected], if you have any questions. Hope to see everyone at the registration night! Come join us for our Malanka on Friday, January 12, 2018. It will be held at the Imperial Ball room at the Victoria Inn 3550 Victoria Ave, here in Brandon. Doors open at 8pm, and will run until 2am. We will be once again having By Request as the band.
Prices: Ages 5 and under: Free Ages 6 - 12: $15 Ages 12 and up: $25 Evening Lunch will be served. Tickets are available from all Dancers. Brandon Troyanda School of Ukrainian Dance is looking for an Instructor for the 2017-18 dance season. Classes are held every Tuesday from September - May; approximate timeframe 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. each week. Other dates for workshops, additional practices, performances and competitions to be determined. Salary is dependent on knowledge and experience of Ukrainian dance. The successful candidate will work under the direction of our current instructors. Registration Night is Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM at the Ukrainian Reading Hall at 1005 Assiniboine Ave. Dance Classes start Sept 12, 2017 AGM is September 19th, 2017 Don't hesitate to come to registration night to talk with other Parents, get more information from Executive Members and meet the Brandon Troyanda Instructors. We are so excited to be the hosts of the Ukrainian Pavilion during the 14th annual Westman Multicultural Festival! It's being held January 26-28 at the Ukrainian Reading Association Hall.
We have traditional Ukrainian food, imported vodka and beer, treasures to buy and admire, plus fantastic entertainment. We have 85 dancers that will take to the stage, plus we're thrilled to have the Sawchuk Sisters, Tryzub and The Stykalo's & Co. joining us to provide live Ukrainian music. It's just non-stop fun. We wrap up the event on Saturday night with a kolomyjka - be sure to shine those dancing shoes and come join us! We've made a few changes to the pavilion, which we hope everyone will like - we look forward to sharing our customs and traditions with you! Hours: Thursday & Friday: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. Saturday: 1 p.m. - 12 a.m. January is a busy month for Brandon Troyanda! Two weeks following Malanka we are hosting the Ukrainian Pavilion as part of the Westman Multicultural Festival (formerly the Lieutenant Governor's Winter Festival).
The event will be held at the Ukrainian Reading Association Hall at 1005 Assiniboine Avenue. The Pavilion runs on January 26 & 27 from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. and January 28 from 1 p.m. - 12 a.m. We can't wait to share our culture with you! We'll have lots of great Ukrainian food, specialty beer and vodka imported from Ukraine, fantastic live Ukrainian music and of course fabulous traditonal dancing from the different regions of Ukraine. Plus we'll have art, jewellery and crafts on display and for sale by Troika Treasures. This is the 14th year of the Ukrainian Pavilion. Come check out the changes we've made for this year's event!
