Our first fundraiser of the year is officially underway! We've been selling Mom's Pantry for a number of years and many of our friends, family, neighbours and co-workers look forward to getting their 'blue' order forms!

Of course, you can order their great products online and our dance club still reaps the benefits. Simply go to www.momspantry.ca and follow these easy steps:
1. Create an account using your email address, then log in to the online ordering section.
2. Choose the Fundraising Order Option
3. A pop-up box will appear requesting log in information, enter the following: Order Number: 107219 / Group Password 38482
4. Place your order and check out.
*If you do place an order online, there is no need to fill out an order form.

We had a terrific turnout last Tuesday for our registration night - great to see some new faces and was wonderful to welcome back so many of our dancers (and parents) who've been with us for a few years!

We're so excited to be kicking off the 2013-14 dance season! Registration for new and returning dancers is on Tuesday, September 10 from 6 pm - 7:30 pm (drop-in) at the Ukrainian Association Reading Hall. See you there!

Congratulations to our outstanding dancers and instructors who brought home 11 gold medals from the Zirka Ukrainian Dance Competition in Dauphin (May 11, 2013). Every single dance from our club managed to achieve marks in the gold level - I can't say how proud we are as parents. Here are the results:

Way to go, way to end the dance season!

Wow! It's hard to believe that our official dance season is almost over. One of the last parent meetings coming up on Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. Hope to see everyone there!

Next parent meeting is Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. All parents are welcome. 

The Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble will once again be hosting Druzi - A Celebration of Ukrainian Dance in Manitoba on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Our Intermediate group will be performing. It's hard to believe we're pretty much halfway through January. We enjoyed performing this past weekend at Malanka hosted by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Ghost (Brandon) at the Ukrainian National Home. What a great evening!

There's a parent meeting this Tuesday (January 15) at 6:30 p.m. at the hall.

We're also gearing up the 10th annual Lieutenant Governor's Winter Festival in Brandon January 31, February 1 & 2. We'll be performing all three days at the Ukrainian Pavilion (Ukrainian Reading Association Hall, 1005 Assiniboine Avenue).
